Weekly Lifestyle and Fashion Inspiration

Weekly journal of the top ten things that rocked my (vintage) world.

1. Vintage Industrial. Smoke, bone and monochrome. Fall in love with this warehouse owned by Love Warriors founder, Sara N Bergman. See more here.

2. Lady of the Canyon. This shoot was my happy place this week. To see why, click here.

3. New York Lady. These pictures totally disrupted my usual ‘Call the Midwife’ Tuesday night couch time. Photography duo Luigi & Iango kill-it with this latest shoot for Vogue Germany‘s March 2017 issue.

4. Intergalactic Planetary. To quote the Beastie Boys “Another Dimension. Another Dimension”. ‘Call to Arms‘ shoot by photographer Camilla Åkrans for Porter Magazine.

5. Lonelyville Hotel. Stunning styling by Anat Dychtwald and photography by Stephanie Pistel for the latest D’Scene March 2017 issue.

6. Wanderlust. Sometimes you just need to sit-back and spend some time (avoiding adult life) by Googling places you’d rather be. Yesterday was one of those days. Destination: New Orleans.

7. Retro Life Podcast. This week, my radio co-host, Miss Posh Poodle and I had the HUGE honour to talk to Kia from This Retro Life about our love of vintage. If you have time, take a listen here.

8. Flawless. This week’s vintage must-have. Fascinators. I spotted them in two separate editorials this week for Porter Magazine and Vogue Germany.

9. Hot Wax. On our radio show, Dead People’s Stuff, we chatted with Mark from Pottsville Vintage about his love of vinyl. To introduce the show we played this classic clip from the flick High Fidelity. Jack Black as the ‘perfect’ salesclerk.

10. #Pinning Blush + Mint Green. It’s a fresh mix and I can’t seem to get enough of this colour combo.
